How can I adopt a pet from Mona and Friends?
Contact us through our website or give us a call. We will let you know which animals are currently available, share their stories and health history, and walk you through our adoption process step by step. We take time to make sure every adoption is the right fit for both the animal and the family.
Do you offer grooming services for pets I already own?
Yes. Our services page includes teeth cleaning, nail trimming, paw care, flea treatment and dental hygiene services for your own pets. These are available in addition to our rescue and adoption work, and the fees help us fund the care of our shelter animals.
Do you provide medical treatment for rescued animals?
Absolutely. Veterinary care is at the core of our mission. Every rescued animal is assessed, vaccinated and treated for parasites as soon as they arrive with us. Our founder is a qualified vet and ensures every animal receives the professional medical attention they need before being placed for adoption.
Will you have boarding services at your new facility?
Yes. Our planned facility in Macedonia will include a boarding wing for paying pet owners. This wing will help us fund the free shelter and care provided to rescue stray animals. Boarding guests will have access to a veterinary clinic, indoor and outdoor play areas and professional pet care around the clock.
How can I help if I cannot adopt right now?
There are plenty of ways to help. You can donate to cover veterinary costs and food, volunteer your time, foster an animal temporarily while we find them a permanent home, or simply share our story on social media to help us reach more people who might be able to adopt or donate.
